STREAMliners Artists score big with Mesquite ISD !

In its second year performing in the classroom, TAO artists show how the arts can build connection and understanding for the 1st grade students at Mesquite ISD’s Shaw and Hodges Elementary campuses:

97% of the student body made connections to math, music and kinesthetics.

86% of the student body higher explorations skills and willingness to try new things.

Nearly 80% show significant behavioral changes.  In fact, many teachers used The TAO class times as an incentive to improve focus during the rest of the week.

Many students applied the original songs to their studies, especially when testing.

We look toward next school year to build on the impact and follow them as a multi-year study.
