Mesquite ISD Rolls out Brand New Pilot Program with TAO!

Through their Department of Innovation, Mesquite ISD has created a new program called, Advanced Academics.

Although we have been partnering for 3 years now, with our cross-curricular education classes with several MISD campuses, the administration adds The Artist Outreach as part of the Advanced Academics pilot that teaches students to self-discover and learn risk-taking, while working through moments of personal challenges.

The program is designated for selected students in Grades 3 – 6 (working together at different times throughout the year).   The pilot classes include 9-week strands of Creative Writing, Technology, Research, and Song Creation.  These students are discussing and designing songs from scratch with our top notch team of musical practitioners.
